Architecture and Interior Design: Our practice is equally balanced between building design and interior architecture. We are equally comfortable designing new structures, building additions and extending the lives of older buildings with new functions. Unlike many design firms, who intentionally or unintentionally create internal barriers between their own design disciplines, we strive to seamlessly integrate architecture and interior design.

We generate building forms that simultaneously address external forces (land use, neighboring context, zoning and environmental factors) with internal program requirements. We believe that only those projects that address all requirements, including budget and schedule, can be considered successful.

Our work reflects a fundamental belief in the value of understanding our clients' unique situation, their aesthetic goals and pragmatic needs before proposing design solutions. Our clients value our experience in strategic planning, programming and the creation of cutting edge workplace strategies. Our teams support this early planning with full philosophy design and documentation capabilities, FF&E specification, LEED certification, signage and environmental graphics, construction administration and post-occupancy evaluation.

The Granum A/I team has extensive experience in a wide range of project types including: corporate headquarters and office fit-outs; pharmaceutical facilities; outpatient and critical care healthcare environments; hospitality; residential; retail; and, government workplaces. Our team members have also completed a broad array of project types for higher education clients including libraries, academic buildings, administrative offices, student residential, theaters, campus centers and recreation facilities.

We work on projects across the country with current assignments in the northeast, mid-Atlantic, southeast and southwest.
